My illustrations have featured in many places over the years.
I have taken countless private commissions and have worked with many brands on digital design and development.
Some of these brands are - the Sherborne Times, Sherborne Prep School, Olive’s Kitchen, N-EST, and Elliscombe House.
I have designed leaving gifts, brand logos, shop icons, book covers and event posters.
I work with pen, ink and watercolour and within digital programmes.
Over the last 15 years, I have worked in creating digital content for entrepreneurs and luxury brands, and have a passion for start-ups and individuals who want to make a stand in the world.
I understand what it takes to start a business, build a strong identity and unique narrative, and how to grow and adapt within the ever-changing trends of our very digital world.
Community is everything - connected we grow.
I’m a qualified life coach and work with hypnosis techniques, meditation and mindfulness, NLP and The Laws of the Mind. I have worked largely, and effectively, within releasing default-setting patterns within the neurodiverse brain.
Specialising in fear-release, I understand how to work through anxiety and fear-based patterns.
With Big-Picture thinking and a highly-developed skillset, I have success in supporting leaders, managers and CEO's; an asset to business growth, expression and mindset for success.
My coaching is spiritual, grounding and moving. It’s about asking the right questions and finding the right resources.
I have run several workshops over the years and have teach both in-person and online.
My classes are designed to encourage confidence, extend your skills and enjoy the chance to explore and develop your own style and ideas.
Working with me - a practicing artist, coach and mentor - at a one to one level offers a unique opportunity to make some inspirational artwork alongside gaining personal support, advice and guidance. Classes are tailor-made to help guide and support each student individually.
One to One Classes (available from ages 8+) are great if you - are developing your portfolio/sketchbook, want to affirm and develop your own style, want to gain confidence, want to extend your skills and techniques, just love art and want to do more of it!!
*Optional, but encouraged - Booking at least 3 consecutive weeks is enormously beneficial to supporting self-sketching studies and allowing for the discussion of this.
In December 2021, I held my first exhibition - Life in Illustration - in Sherborne.
It all starts somewhere.
Before I started using my signature-style dippy-nib pen and ink, alongside glorious shades of watercolour, I would mostly sketch with a very fine nib pen (a particularly specific one of which I had to have several because I’m prone to loosing them) and I have been inspired by many artists - Quentin Blake particularly, but also Sue Lewington.
I studied fine art, illustration and mixed-media to A Level, before venturing into the world of Broadcasting, and have always had a love of life drawing; particularly people.
I love to sketch with charcoal and I absolutely love to create huge boards of acrylic. I can also sketch with thread using free-motion machine embroidery.
